Chicago Bears File Trademark Applications for CLUB DUB

h

December 27, 2018

With the NFL regular season in its final week, the Chicago Bears have been quite the pleasant surprise for Chicago fans. The wins have been racking up and the Bears are in position to make some noise in the playoffs. With a first year head coach, a rejuvenated Bears team appears to be having much more fun this season compared to teams of recent years. So much fun, in fact, that after each Chicago Bears’ victory, you can find the players dancing in the locker room that they have coined as “Club Dub.”

In order to secure rights in the name, the Chicago Bears filed four separate trademark applications on December 17th, 2018 for CLUB DUB to protect the following goods & services:

  • Education and entertainment services in the nature of professional football games and exhibitions; providing sports and entertainment information via a global computer network or a commercial on-line computer service or by cable, satellite, television and radio; entertainment services, namely, fan clubs engaged in cheering, chanting, singing and other motivational activities for entertainment, amusement and recreation at professional football games, sports exhibitions, and other special events
  • clothing, namely, shirts, hats, caps, t-shirts, jackets and jerseys
  • Printed products, namely, posters
  • cloth towels
